Photos are integral to most websites, and you will want to include many in yours.
Weebly has a very simple photo editor, but it is limited to cropping, rotating and a few special effects, so you cannot resize or compress your photos in Weebly. I am told they are working on a real photo editor, but until they develop one, we'll have to use something else.

See this photo? It is less than 100k in size, but was 30 times that size out of the camera. Using photos right out of your camera can slow down your website, so it is a good practice to edit and reduce your image's file size before uploading.

There are hundreds of photo editing software packages available, such as Adobe's Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, and Corel's Printshop Pro, but I have found a free one that I have recommended to students for its simplicity and versatility.
