What's going on here? April 2, 2015 Everyone loves writing about their travels and sharing their photographs, and I did plenty of that during my 19-month motorcycle trip, True America, (available now at www.MarksTrail.com.) But I have become weary of travelogues - it's okay, I get weary easily - so I decided to change things up a bit, and send out all those "Been here, done this" items through a creative work of fiction that I hope will prove entertaining.
Not sure if I can pull this off - never really wrote much fiction before - so be patient, please. Also, since I (really) am living on a small boat with limited power and sketchy Internet access, and am spending most of my time cruising or wandering, all I may actually be able to get to you are rough drafts, and I may revise them after publication. I hope to write a chapter or two each week through May, and will post parts of each chapter on my Facebook page. And I confess... some of this may actually be true! |
