I visited Dubai for just one day on my way from the Republic of Georgia to Sri Lanka. It is not a place you can really see in one day, unless you get a car and know your way around. I took the Metro, which was comfortable, but a challenge, as this city is really spread out and not really pedestrian-friendly. Worth a visit, though, if you have time and money!
